This guide describes how to evaluate Pipeline as a managed service in our online environment.
You will need:
- A GitHub account.
- An account and the related credentials at one of our supported cloud providers, for example, AWS or GCP. The access key must have the proper privileges to create and delete clusters. The examples in this guide assume that you are using AWS.
The high level steps for creating a new cluster and starting to use Pipeline are the following. Follow the links at the individual steps for more details.
If you are the member of multiple GitHub organizations, choose the GitHub organization to use after logging in.
You can use Pipeline from the command line as well as using the web interface. If you want to use Pipeline from the command line, open a terminal and install the banzai-cli tool:
curl https://getpipeline.sh | sh
For additional installation options, see Installing Banzai CLI.
Deploy some workload.
